1. Our Individual People Charity Projects

More Home Owners find themselves in trouble

Our financial plan was carefully considered, which included the property acquisition plus additional expenses for procurement. We had allocated a sum of €115,000 to cater for the rebuilding and modernisation of the property. After conducting a thorough search, we managed to identify a builder who gave us a reasonable estimate and promised to complete the entire project. We paid a deposit, and the demolition process began. Another payment was made for materials, but the builder deviated from the agreed schedule, and requested for more funds, which we agreed to provide. Unfortunately, the builder declared bankruptcy and absconded, leaving us with a partially demolished property.

At our organization, we firmly believe in the significance of care and support. When faced with individuals going through challenging circumstances, we collaborate with them to develop a comprehensive plan for their successful transition and long-term stability. Our extensive experience has taught us to overcome various obstacles such as financial difficulties, mental and physical health concerns, familial or relationship troubles, grief, unemployment, and addiction struggles. Regardless of their diverse backgrounds,

Project Sandra & Alex

Sandra and Alex had been eagerly anticipating the completion of their dream home. They meticulously planned every detail, envisioning a place where they could build a lifetime of memories. However, what initially seemed like a promising project, soon turned into a nightmarish ordeal, leaving them with a pile of rubble and shattered dreams. However, their optimism soon turned to despair when, without any warning or explanation, all work on the house abruptly halted after the interior had been stripped down to its framework. Confusion turned to shock as the builder demanded additional payments, despite the lack of progress. Even more devastating was the news that the builder had filed for bankruptcy, leaving Sandra and Alex with an unfinished structure, no heating, no water, and a project recovery cost estimated at €110,000.

n the aftermath of this betrayal, Sandra and Alex find themselves grappling with a situation they never anticipated. The emotional distress and financial strain resulting from this unfortunate turn of events have been profound. The daunting prospect of rebuilding their home and their lives looms large, seemingly beyond their reach.

Now, more than ever, Sandra and Alex are reaching out to the community for support. Every contribution, regardless of size, will play a pivotal role in helping them piece together their shattered dreams. Your generosity and kindness in aiding them to reclaim their home would be deeply appreciated. Join us in restoring hope and rebuilding their future together.

Project Janis

Janis is currently facing a significant crisis. Unfortunately, the work carried out by the supposed professionals in charge of the electricity installation proved to be highly incompetent. As a result, the entire electrical system had to be redone.  The walls were previously panelled to cover the messy job.  Regrettably, it is no longer possible to hold the individuals responsible for this substandard work accountable. Adding to her challenges, Janis’ partner has decided to part ways, leaving her to single-handedly care for their two children. The estimated cost of repairing the damages amounts to €29,000, a financial burden that Janis, as a single mother, is unable to bear. We actively raising funds to help Jamis

2. Our General People Charity Projects

Aesthetically pleasing things can be deceptive and dangerous for the less fortunate. Snowy landscapes may invite thrilling activities like skiing, but they can also be life-threatening for homeless individuals without shelter. The contrast between appearance and reality is a stark reminder of the risks for the less fortunate.

Winter presents numerous hardships for homeless individuals. The plummeting temperatures can lead to severe health risks, including hypothermia and frostbite. Homeless people face the constant struggle to find warmth, often resorting to inadequate makeshift shelters or sleeping rough on the streets. Without proper protection from the cold, their safety and well-being are at great risk.

Charity for People has envisioned a solution: mobile bus shelters. Inspired by Phil’s experience in the US, where he witnessed the effectiveness of such initiatives, Charity for People aims to implement mobile bus shelters, initially in the United States and eventually in Europe

The mobile bus shelters, equipped with essential amenities, offer a sanctuary for those in need. Providing warmth, hot food, and drinks, these shelters create an environment where individuals can regain a sense of comfort and security. By stepping aboard, the homeless are greeted with a respite from the biting cold, allowing them to feel valued and cared for, if only temporarily
