Animal Charity - Help Animals - 3 Ways You Can Help

Recent Quote from one of our Patrons

I went to have my two Pugs treated for teething problems and almost needed medical  attention myself. I came out of the Vet with a bill of just over €2.100.  I am fortunate enough to have a good income.  Imagine the ones who don’t have that kind of money.

What happened over the past 36 months

The increase in pet ownership during the COVID-19 pandemic, combined with the rise in abandoned animals after the Ukraine war, reminds us of how global events can deeply affect our lives. As the world dealt with lockdowns and social isolation, there was a noticeable surge in the desire for companionship, resulting in more people adopting pets. However, as the situation stabilizes and the long-term effects of the pandemic become clearer, a concerning trend has emerged – a significant number of pets are being abandoned. This unfortunate development highlights the extensive and complicated consequences of global crises, as they not only impact human lives but also have a profound effect on the well-being and welfare of our animal friends. It serves as a sobering reminder that our actions and choices during times of turmoil can have lasting effects, emphasizing the need for a more compassionate and responsible society that values the well-being of both humans and animals.

Animal Charity – Help Bella

We would like to introduce you to Bella, a lovely 10-year-old Husky Mix who was rescued by her current owner in Spain 24 months ago. Since then, Bella has received over €1,800 in treatments and surgeries to spay her and bring her back to her present healthy condition. However, Bella has unfortunately been suffering from a form of epilepsy and has been consistently visiting the vet, incurring mounting costs with no improvement in her condition. Recently, after countless visits, we found out that Bella has diabetes and requires monthly care and monitoring to live a happy and healthy life. We are kindly seeking your support to help cover the costs of Bella’s ongoing treatment. Your contribution will make a significant difference in Bella’s life, and we appreciate any support you can provide towards this cause. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Animals Charity -Help Tristan

We would like to introduce Project Tristan, a fundraising effort to support a chocolate Labrador named Tristan. Despite being 12 years old, he has been with his owners since he was a puppy. Three years ago, Tristan started experiencing difficulty walking and hind lameness, which was ultimately diagnosed as dysplasia. Although the operation was successful, it was also quite costly. Recently, cataracts have formed in his eyes, and another surgery is necessary to remove them. The estimated cost of this procedure is over €2,000.

To prevent any further deterioration of Tristan’s health, we would like to sponsor this operation through our fundraising initiative. Any financial contributions towards this cause would be greatly appreciated.

Animal Charity – Help Oscar

Let me share the heart-warming story of Project Oscar, the resilient and lovable Pug. Despite facing regular dental visits and costs that could have broken the spirit of any dog, Oscar has maintained his joyful and spirited nature. However, tough times have hit Oscar recently, as he has begun struggling to walk due to a spinal disorder.

Our organization is incredibly proud to help Oscar today. We will sponsor the cost of his much-needed operation, which is estimated to cost €2,500, and will provide him with all the necessary aftercare to ensure a speedy and full recovery. We believe that Oscar is a true fighter, and we hope that his story reminds us all to never give up in the face of adversity.

Together, we can bring a smile back to Oscar’s pug-tastic face and remind him that, even in the darkest of times, kindness and care can make all the difference.

2. General Animal Charity

General Animal Charity is dedicated to addressing the challenges of overcrowding and limited funds in animal care. We focus on abandoned dogs and cats, providing extensive care for these animals who have been left behind for various reasons. Our holistic approach aims to alleviate the problems faced by overcrowded shelters and limited funding. Our goal is to safeguard the welfare of all animals and improve the well-being of animals worldwide.

Lonely and stuck at home, many Americans turned to animals for comfort during the Covid-19 pandemic. They adopted and fostered cats and dogs from shelters at record rates. However, the situation has changed in 2021. Shelters are now filling up, with more animals coming in than leaving. As a result, many shelters are at capacity and are being forced to euthanize dogs due to lack of space. This has become a crisis, with perfectly adoptable dogs losing their lives. Shelters are in desperate need of volunteers, fosters, and adopters.

Its is the same in Europe.  Support our Animal Shelters –

3. Gaza Animal Charity - Current Focus Project

The Gaza Animal Charity is part of Gaza Help for People. Watch the video for a friendly explanation. We focus on abandoned dogs and cats, providing comprehensive care. Our goal is to address overcrowding and limited resources in animal care and protect animal welfare worldwide.

The ongoing Middle East Conflict is not only inflicting immense human suffering but also leading to the distress of thousands of innocent animals. Amidst this turmoil, the Sulala Animal Rescue emerges as a beacon of hope in Gaza, serving as the first and only animal rescue organization in the region. With a dedicated mission to alleviate the plight of these voiceless creatures, the rescue tirelessly works to provide them with the care and support they desperately need. By channeling funds raised directly to where they are most needed, the Sulala Animal Rescue ensures that every contribution makes a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable animals. Join us in supporting this vital cause and together, let us bring solace and relief to both the human and animal victims of this ongoing conflict.
